Clinical Research Ethics Committee (CREC) has been constituted at netaji subhas medical college and hospital (NSMCH) to ensure the quality ,technical excellence and consistent ethical review of all the submitted health and bio-medical research proposals in accordance with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) ethical guidelines. At present NSMCH is the only medical college in bihar to get its Ethical Committee (CREC-NSMCH) approved by National Ethics Committee Registry for Bio-Medical and Health Research (NECRBHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare ,Department of health Research (DHR) New Delhi.
The CREC at NSMCH is an independent body that ensures ethical and scientific review of research involving human participants. With a diverse team of experts, it upholds transparency, accountability, and integrity, safeguarding participants’ rights while promoting high-quality biomedical research.
